What did all this craziness lead to?
Well, after these guys got done with their paintin’, the art world was never the same. Nowadays, you see all sorts of crazy art, stuff that don’t look like nothin’ you ever seen before. And it all kinda goes back to these cube-ists and sur-real-ists. They opened the door, you know? They showed everyone that art don’t gotta be pretty or realistic. It can be anything you want it to be. It can be a way to express yourself, to show people how you see the world, even if it’s a weird and wacky way. Honestly? I don’t know. Some folks like it, some folks don’t. Me? I like a good picture of a horse, myself. But these artists, they were tryin’ to do somethin’ different, somethin’ new. And I guess that’s important, right? Even if it don’t make a lick of sense to you and me.
