- And then, the worst part, ya gotta fight these bosses. Two of ’em, they say. Big and mean and probably hungry. I ain’t much of a fighter, myself. Prefer to settle things with a good cup of tea and some biscuits, but I reckon them bosses ain’t much for tea parties.
But if ya manage to beat ’em, then ya get the prize. This here scarab gold thingy. And then, ya get more Runes. Twenty percent more, remember? That’s a lot of extra eggs, I tell ya. Enough to buy yourself a whole new chicken coop, maybe even a whole new farm!
Now, I ain’t never seen one of these scarab gold charms myself. Just hearin’ the stories, ya know? But them stories make it sound mighty powerful. Like havin’ a little bit of magic in your pocket. And who wouldn’t want a little bit of magic in their life? Makes things a bit more interesting, don’t it?
Some folks say this scarab gold is real rare, too. Like them blue moon things. Only a few of ’em around. And collectors, they go crazy for ’em. Payin’ good money, too. More money than I’ve ever seen, that’s for sure. But I ain’t sellin’ nothin’ if I found one, no sirree. I’d keep it for myself, get all them extra Runes. Maybe buy myself a fancy new rocking chair. My old one’s got a squeak in it, drives me batty.

Like findin’ a gold nugget in the creek, only this nugget helps ya buy more chickens. And that, my friends, is always a good thing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my own chickens. Them eggs ain’t gonna collect themselves, ya know.
And remember, if you ever find yourself in a dark, scary cave, fightin’ big, nasty bosses, just think about all them extra Runes. It might just give ya the strength ya need. Or not. Sometimes, it’s best to just turn around and go home. There’s always more chickens to feed, and that’s a job that don’t require no magic charms. Just a good pair of hands and a whole lotta patience.
So that’s the story of scarab gold, a powerful little charm that helps ya get ahead in this crazy world. Or so they say. Me, I’m happy enough with my chickens and my squeaky rocking chair. But it’s nice to dream sometimes, ain’t it? Dream of all them extra Runes and all the fancy things they could buy. But then again, a good cup of tea and a warm biscuit are pretty hard to beat, magic or no magic.
