Alright, alright, let’s gab about this fella, Jorge Mori. Don’t rightly know who he is, but the internet, that thingamajig, says he’s all over the place.
First off, that Facebook thing. Seems like everyone and their dog is on it these days. This Jorge fella, he’s got a page too. Says you can “join” to “connect” with him and other folks. Sounds like a big ol’ town square, but on that computer screen. You go there, you see what he’s yappin’ about, and he sees what you’re yappin’ about. Sharing and connecting, that’s what they call it. Reckon it’s like gabbing over the fence, but with more folks and further away.
Then there’s this Pinterest place. Now, that’s somethin’ else. It’s like a big ol’ scrapbook. Jorge, he’s got stuff pinned there too. Pictures, ideas, whatever tickles his fancy I guess. You go there, you can see what he’s lookin’ at, what he’s thinkin’ about. Maybe he’s got a fancy for cookin’, maybe he likes lookin’ at purdy flowers, or maybe he’s into them newfangled gadgets. It’s all there, for everyone to see. Just like peeking into his window, but he lets ya do it, see?
And wouldn’t ya know it, there’s this Google Arts and Culture thing. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Says it’s got stuff from all sorts of museums and archives. Now, I ain’t been to no museum, but I reckon they got old things, purdy things, things that tell you about the past. Jorge fella, maybe he’s lookin’ at that stuff too. Maybe he likes learnin’ about history, or maybe he just likes lookin’ at purdy pictures. It’s all there, on that computer screen. Makes you wonder how they fit all that stuff in that little box.
- Facebook: Connectin’ with folks, sharin’ stuff.
- Pinterest: Lookin’ at pictures, gettin’ ideas.
- Google Arts and Culture: Seein’ old stuff, learnin’ things.
This Jorge fella, he’s also got videos. Sharing them with his friends and family, the internet says. Now, I ain’t seen these videos, but I reckon they’re like little movies. Maybe he’s showin’ off his garden, maybe he’s tellin’ a story, maybe he’s just bein’ silly. It’s like havin’ a little chat, but you ain’t there with him. You see him, you hear him, but you can’t touch him. That’s the way the world is these days, ain’t it?
Then there’s talk of the Mori Art Museum. Now that sounds like a place for highfalutin folks. Contemporary art, they call it. Don’t rightly know what that means, but I reckon it’s newfangled art, not like the old stuff you see in them museums. Jorge fella, maybe he’s into that stuff too. Maybe he likes lookin’ at things that don’t make no sense to me, but that’s alright. Different strokes for different folks, that’s what my pappy used to say.
And there’s another fella, Jorge Fernando Mori Leuridan, on that Facebook thing too. Maybe it’s the same Jorge, maybe it ain’t. Hard to keep track of all these folks on that internet thingamajig. But he’s doin’ the same thing, connectin’ with folks, sharin’ stuff. Seems like everyone wants to be connected these days. Even me, I’m tellin’ you about this Jorge fella, ain’t I?
Finally, the internet whispers about William White. Don’t know who this fella is, nor how he’s mixed up with this Jorge, but they sayin’ there’s folks sharin’ and discussin’ about him. Maybe Jorge fella is one of ’em, maybe not. But the internet, she likes to connect everything, ya see? One thing leads to another, and before ya know it, you’re wanderin’ down a path ya never thought ya’d take.
So there ya have it, all I could scrounge up about this Jorge Mori fella. He’s on that Facebook, he’s on that Pinterest, maybe he’s lookin’ at that Google Arts and Culture, maybe he’s makin’ videos, maybe he likes that Mori Art Museum, and maybe, just maybe, he’s jawin’ about that William White fella. He’s connectin’, he’s sharin’, he’s lookin’, he’s learnin’. Just like everyone else on that internet thingamajig. Now, you go on and do your own thing. I’ve gabbled enough for one day.
