He’s all about bringin’ good news, that’s what they say. Strength of God, that’s what his name means, sounds powerful, don’t it?

Michael, the fighter angel
Then there’s Michael. This fella, he’s the tough one. A real fighter, they say. Got a burnin’ sword and everything! Some folks reckon he’s the top angel, the head honcho. Prince of the other angels, they call him. Sounds like a big deal to me. He’s the warrior, always ready for a scrap.
Now, some church folks, the Latter-day Saints, they say Michael’s the only archangel, the chief angel. Head of the whole bunch. Other folks, they argue ’bout it, sayin’ maybe Gabriel’s up there too, but mostly folks agree, Michael’s the muscle.
Who’s tougher? Who’s higher up?
So, who’s tougher? Well, if you’re talkin’ ’bout fightin’, gotta be Michael. Burnin’ sword and all, sounds like he ain’t afraid of nothin’. Gabriel, he’s more of a talker, a messenger. But that don’t mean he ain’t important, mind you.
As for who’s higher up, well, that’s where it gets tricky. Some say Michael’s the boss, the chief angel. Others put Gabriel up there too. Me? I reckon it don’t matter much. They’re both doin’ God’s work, just in different ways. One’s the muscle, the other’s the mouth piece, so to speak.
It’s like a family, kinda
Think of it like a family. You got your older brothers, right? Maybe one’s the strong, silent type, always ready to protect ya. That’s Michael. And maybe the other one’s the one who always tells ya what’s goin’ on, keeps ya in the loop. That’s Gabriel. Both important, just different. You get what I’m sayin’?

Guess folks like the idea of these angels battlin’ it out. Probably got Michael as the tough guy, swingin’ that sword. Gabriel might be in there too, maybe usin’ his words as weapons or somethin’. I ain’t played it, mind you, but it sounds like somethin’ the young’uns would enjoy.
What I think
So, if you ask me, and nobody did, but I’m tellin’ ya anyway, it ain’t ’bout who’s tougher or higher up. It’s ’bout doin’ what you’re supposed to do. Michael, he fights. Gabriel, he talks. Both important. Both workin’ for the same boss. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it? They both important in their own way. Just like in a family, gotta have all kinds to make it work.
