Oh, that Halloween, it’s a big thing, ain’t it? Kids love it, grown-ups, too. I seen a lot of Halloween art in my day, lemme tell ya. Some spooky, some funny, all kinds of things. This year, I’m thinking about all them pictures and drawings and such that folks make for Halloween. It’s a real big deal, all this famous Halloween art.
You know, back in the day, we didn’t have all this fancy stuff. We just carved up a pumpkin, maybe put a candle in it, called it a day. Now, folks, they go all out. They paint, they draw, they make all sorts of things, it’s real famous, these things. I reckon some of these art pieces are really famous Halloween art.
I seen this one picture, it was a big ol’ spooky house, all dark and creepy lookin’. Bats flyin’ around, and a big ol’ moon in the sky. Gave me the shivers, it did! That’s some famous Halloween art, that is, popular as can be. That artist, he must be known all over, the way people talk about this art.
- Pumpkins, all carved up with faces
- Ghosts, made outta sheets and whatnot
- Witches, flyin’ on their brooms
- Black cats, with their yellow eyes
- Spooky houses, all dark and scary
And them witches, always paintin’ them witches. Flyin’ on their brooms, with their pointy hats. Sometimes they’re stirrin’ a big pot, makin’ some kinda brew. I guess that’s what witches do, ain’t it? That’s gotta be some famous Halloween art, too. Everyone loves to see them pictures of them ol’ witches. Everyone knows about that one.
Then there’s them black cats. Always seein’ pictures of them black cats around Halloween. They say they’re bad luck, but I don’t know about that. Just cats, I reckon. But they sure do show up in a lot of that famous Halloween art. People like to put them in their pictures, make ’em look all spooky and such.
And ghosts! Sheets with eyes cut out, floatin’ around. Kids love to dress up like that, runnin’ around, scarin’ folks. It’s all in good fun, though. And you see them ghosts in a lot of that art, too. That white and floaty look, that’s some famous Halloween art, alright. It’s easy to make, too.
You know what else is really popular? Them skeletons. Just bones, all put together to look like a person. Dancing skeletons, playin’ instruments, all kinds of things. They even got skeletons wearin’ clothes sometimes. It’s kinda funny, when you think about it. You can see them pictures in any shop, I think they are part of famous Halloween art, right?
There is so many famous Halloween art, I can’t even remember all of them, but I really like that one, you know, the big orange pumpkin, but it’s got a mean face carved into it, and it’s glowin’ from the inside. They call it a jack-o’-lantern, I think. That’s gotta be one of the most famous Halloween art pieces ever. Everybody knows that one. You see it everywhere around Halloween, on porches, in windows, even on TV. It’s like the symbol of Halloween, ain’t it? That’s some art that’s really made its mark, I tell ya.
And what about that one with the scarecrow? Standin’ out in a cornfield, lookin’ all creepy. He’s got a pumpkin for a head, and he’s wearin’ old raggedy clothes. Crows are sittin’ on his arms, and there’s a full moon in the sky. It’s kinda spooky, but also kinda cool. I bet that’s some famous Halloween art, too. People love them scarecrows, especially around Halloween. That picture, it just screams Halloween, don’t it?
I seen this other picture once, it was a bunch of kids, all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. They were trick-or-treatin’, goin’ from house to house, gettin’ candy. It was a real colorful picture, with all them different costumes. That’s gotta be some famous Halloween art, too, right? I see them at the store, on them cards, that’s gotta be famous, cause they are using it for everything.
It’s just somethin’ folks do, I guess. Make art about Halloween. It’s like a tradition, or somethin’. And some of it gets real famous, too. Folks will be makin’ their own this year, I’ll betcha. Some new famous Halloween art that I’m gonna see.
It is a lot of fun to look at all that famous Halloween art. I do like to see that. A good way to spend a long afternoon, if you like the art.
