Netherlands Painters Famous (Learn About the Dutch Masters)
These Netherlands painters, oh boy, they sure are somethin’. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout ’em, sayin’ they’re famous and all. I reckon they are, paintin’ all them pictures and whatnot. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I seen some of them paintin’s, and they’re somethin’ else. I tell ya!
That Rembrandt fella, they say he’s the best of ’em all. Born way back in 1606, imagine that! Died a long time ago too. They call him the best Dutch painter ever. He painted that “Night Watch” thing, and some bride picture. They got ’em in some fancy museum. Big deal, I say. But folks sure do like ’em.

There’s a bunch of these Netherlands painters. Too many to keep track of. They all got fancy names. Like that Johannes Vermeer, born in 1632, died in 1675. He was from Delft. They say he painted some important pictures. But what do I know? They are just paintin’s to me.

And Pieter de Molyn, 1595 to 1661. And Simon de Vlieger, 1601 to 1653. They sure do have lots of fellas who like to put paint on them canvases. There’s a whole bunch more, but I can’t keep track of ’em all.
These Dutch painters, they were all from the Netherlands, that’s for sure. They painted all sorts of things, I reckon. People, places, you name it. I guess they were good at it, bein’ so famous and all. People put them paintin’s in museums and all that. It’s all beyond me, though. I just stick to my garden.

I guess that makes ’em famous, right? They’re all gone now, these old painters. But their pictures are still here. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? It’s like they’re still here, in a way, through their paintin’s.

I guess every place has somethin’ they’re known for. The Netherlands, they got them painters. Famous painters, at that. It’s a big world out there, and everyone’s got their own thing. These painters, they had their paintin’s. And I reckon that’s all that matters.
