They call ’em tours, these things. Get you a tour of Italy, see all them old places. They talk about Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Tuscany, and a place called Cinque Terre. Never heard of the last one, but the rest, those are big deals.
These tours, they get you everythin’. The metal bird ride, a place to lay your head, they even move you around once you get there. Like bein’ a queen, I imagine, just bein’ carted around from place to place. It’s a good thing if you ain’t as spry as you used to be, like me.
Now, these palaces in Rome, they ain’t just big, they’re old. Older than dirt, I’d say. They got stories in them walls, stories of folks long gone, rich folks, important folks. You can almost hear ’em whisperin’ if you listen real close.

They say there’s a whole lotta people goin’ to see these palaces in Rome. More than a hundred thousand, they say. That’s more people than I ever seen in my whole life, all gathered in one place. Must be somethin’ special to draw a crowd like that. Like a county fair, only with more stone and less pie.
When you are plannin’ on your tour of Italy, you gotta know what you’re gettin’ into. These folks that plan the tours, they know things. Things you wouldn’t find in a book, they say. Like the best place to get a bite to eat, or the best time to see a certain somethin’. It’s like havin’ a friend in a strange land, I reckon.
Some of these palaces, they’re so fancy, they even got gold on the walls. Can you imagine? Gold, just sittin’ there, shinin’ away. Must be worth a fortune. Enough to buy a whole farm, I bet, maybe even two.
These palaces are historical and they will leave an impression on your heart. If you can get a tour of Italy you will have the time of your life. Just imagine all that history, all them stories, right there in front of your eyes.
So, if you’re thinkin’ of goin’ to Rome, you gotta see these palaces. They’re a sight to behold, somethin’ you’ll never forget. Just like that time I saw a two-headed calf at the county fair. Stuck with me, it did. And these palaces, they’ll stick with you too, I guarantee it. Rome is a place that you should visit if you have the opportunity.
It ain’t every day you get to see somethin’ like that, somethin’ so old and grand. It’s like steppin’ back in time, like walkin’ through a storybook. These palaces are a must see. They are the best things to see in Rome, they are just like the guidebooks say they are. And who knows, maybe you’ll even see a ghost or two, wanderin’ them halls. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
Yep, those palaces in Rome, they’re somethin’ special. Somethin’ worth seein’. Just remember to wear your good shoes, not your old boots like mine. You don’t wanna scuff up those shiny floors. Those floors are an important part of the palaces.
