What God puts in their hearts. They got these paintings, some real bright and colorful. Others, kinda dark and mysterious. But they all make you think about somethin’ bigger than yourself.

- Some paint angels, with big ol’ wings and glowin’ all around.
- Some paint just colors, swirlin’ around, but you can still feel somethin’ holy in it.
There’s this one gal, heard someone talkin’ about her, Vanessa something. She got a place in Arizona, they say. Full of her pictures. Supposed to be real inspirin’. Maybe I’ll go see it someday, when I got the time and the money. You never know where these contemporary Christian artists will pop up!
And then there is that Julia Rose, she paints what the Holy Spirit tells her, they say. They call it “prophetic.” Like she’s seein’ the future or somethin’. I don’t know about all that, but her pictures are somethin’ else. This one, all blues and purples, looked like a storm brewin’ in the sky. Made me think about troubled times. But then there was this little bit of gold, peekin’ through the clouds. Like hope, you know?
And this other one, name’s Sara Joseph, I think. She sells her pictures online. Even got a school, teaches people how to paint religious things. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Back in my day, you just painted what you saw. Cows, chickens, the sunset over the fields. Simple things. But these contemporary Christian artists painters, they see somethin’ more.
