Well, I heard folks talking ’bout this thing, the Horns of the Berserker. Sounds mighty fierce, don’t it? Like some kinda crazy bull headgear, I reckon.
Some fella name Entharl, sells it. They say he’s over at Danthelon’s Dancing Axe. Sounds like a right rowdy place, if you ask me. Dancing Axe? What in tarnation? Better keep your coin purse close in a place like that.
What’s so special about these Horns?
Now, these ain’t just any old horns. They got some kinda magic, I suppose. Some say, If you get hit, and you ain’t feeling so good, these horns make you hit harder. They add extra damage, some kinda necrotic damage. Don’t rightly know what that is, but sounds nasty, don’t it? It is rare, they say, very rare helmet.
And if you are already hurtin’, these horns, they give you a better chance of hitting what you’re swingin’ at. I guess when you’re mad and hurt, you just swing harder. Like a cornered badger, I reckon. That’s what these horns do, make you like a cornered badger, all angry and ready to bite.

Don’t know where that is, but it sounds far. Maybe it’s across some river, I don’t know. But if you want these horns, that’s where you gotta go, I reckon.
Some folks say you can just snatch ’em from Entharl, if you’re quick enough. But that ain’t right, stealin’ is stealin’. But you know, some folks do as they please, I suppose. I ain’t one to judge, but I wouldn’t do it myself.
Horns of the Berserker, Act 3
They say this is an “Act 3” kinda thing. Sounds like some play, I don’t know. But I guess it means you gotta be pretty far along in your journey to get these horns. You gotta be tough, I reckon. Probably fought a lot of mean things. Maybe even killed some, I don’t know. But you gotta be strong to get to Act 3, that’s what they say.
Now, I heard that this helmet, it ain’t heavy. It is about 0.5 kg, 1 lb, I guess that is not too heavy. But it costs a lot of gold. 230 gp. That’s a lot of chickens, I tell ya. You could buy a whole coop for that much!
These Horns of the Berserker, they give you something called “Seeking Blood.” Sounds scary, don’t it? Like some kinda bloodthirsty beast. But that’s what it does, makes you hit better when the enemy is already bleeding, I guess. Like a shark smelling blood in the water. If somethin’ is already hurt, you’re gonna hit ’em even harder with these horns.
Who should wear these Horns?
Well, I reckon these horns are for those rough and tumble types. Those who ain’t afraid of a fight. Those who get knocked down but get right back up again, madder than a wet hen. If you’re a fighter, a real brawler, these Horns of the Berserker might be for you. It is a cloth helmet.
But if you’re more the type to stay back and avoid a fight, these horns probably ain’t for you. You don’t want to be in the thick of it if you can help it. These horns are for those who charge in headfirst, I reckon.

I heard some folks talkin’ about this other thing, called “Baldur’s Gate 3.” Sounds like a big, fancy gate to some city, I don’t know. But they say these Horns of the Berserker are in that place, Baldur’s Gate 3. So, if you’re there, you might find these horns. If you’re lookin’ for ’em, that is.
And they say this helmet, it’s for your head, of course. Where else would you put horns? But it’s made of cloth. So it ain’t gonna protect you much from a good whack, I reckon. But it’s got that magic, so maybe that makes up for it, I don’t know. If you want the helmet, you can buy it in Act 3.
These Horns of the Berserker, they sound like a right curious thing. Powerful, maybe a little dangerous. But if you’re the fightin’ type, they might be just what you need. If you have the gold and a strong arm, you can go find these horns.
