Where to buy legends of national parks fabric: Easy shopping guide!
Okay, so I’ve been on this whole crafting kick lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I stumbled upon this fabric collection online called “Legends of the National Parks” by Anderson Design for Riley Blake Designs, and I just had to get my hands on it. I mean, Bigfoot and Lizardman on fabric? Yes, please!
I started by browsing through all the different patterns and designs. It took some time, but I couldn’t just grab any ol’ fabric, you know? I wanted the perfect one for my project. They had these awesome panels with these mythical creatures and national park scenes, all in this vintage, kinda retro style. Totally my jam. I ended up selecting these panels with four blocks that has some of the coolest designs.
Once I got the fabric in the mail, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I immediately cleared off my crafting table and laid out the fabric. It was even better in person. The colors were so vibrant, and the designs were just as cool as I’d hoped. I carefully examined it and ran my hand over it, feeling how smooth and soft it was.
Now, I’m not the best at sewing, but I have this old sewing machine that I inherited from my grandma. I dusted it off, threaded the needle (after a few tries, I won’t lie), and got to work. I had this idea to make a quilt, you know, something to cozy up with during those chilly nights. I wanted a good mix of different patterns and colors.
I started by cutting the fabric into squares, following the lines on the panels. This part was easy peasy. The hard part was sewing them all together. My lines weren’t exactly straight, and I definitely made a few mistakes along the way, haha. But hey, that’s part of the charm, right? Imperfectly perfect.
After a few days of sewing, and lots of coffee, I finally finished the quilt. It wasn’t perfect, but I was so proud of it! I spread it out on my bed, and it looked amazing. The different panels with the legends of the national parks all came together to create this unique, kinda quirky masterpiece.
Now, every time I wrap myself up in my new quilt, I can’t help but smile. It’s not just a blanket; it’s a reminder of this little crafting adventure I went on. And who knows, maybe it’ll even inspire me to plan a trip to one of those national parks. Gotta see if I can spot Bigfoot in person, you know?
