Get the Look: Military Style Fashion Clothing and Where to Find Them!
Alright, so I’ve been seeing this military style fashion popping up everywhere lately, and I gotta say, I’m kinda into it. I mean, it’s got that tough, no-nonsense vibe, but it can also look pretty cool if you do it right. So, I decided to give it a shot myself and see what I could come up with.
First thing I did was look around online for some ideas. Not gonna lie, a lot of it was, like, way over the top. I’m not trying to look like I’m about to go into battle or anything. I just wanted to incorporate some of that military feel into my everyday outfits.
Then, I started to think about the actual clothes. Obviously, you got your camouflage, but I figured that might be a bit much for just walking around town. So, I went for more subtle stuff, like olive green and khaki colors. I already had a few things in those colors, like a pair of cargo pants and a jacket, so that was a good start.
Then I started to think about the details. It’s those little things that can really make the military style, you know? I got these patches, like embroidered ones. Maybe I would sew them onto my jacket or backpack. I even thought about getting some of those name tags, just for fun, but then I realized maybe it’s weird if my name isn’t actually military-related.
I also realized that there are different kinds of military uniforms. Like, there’s the super formal ones, the ones for fancy events, and then there’s the everyday kind, and then there’s the ones they wear in actual combat. I definitely wasn’t going for the combat look. I was thinking more along the lines of that casual, everyday uniform.
Mixing and Matching
Once I had some pieces, I started to experiment with different combinations. I tried wearing the cargo pants with a simple white t-shirt and my olive green jacket. It looked pretty good, not too try-hard, but still had that military vibe. I also tried the jacket with jeans and a black t-shirt. That worked too.
One thing I realized is that you don’t wanna overdo it. Like, you don’t want to wear all military-inspired stuff at once, or you’ll just look like you’re wearing a costume. It’s better to mix it up with regular clothes, just a few pieces here and there.
Also, fit is important. Military uniforms are usually pretty fitted, not too baggy. So, I made sure my clothes fit well, not too loose, not too tight.
Final Touches
After playing around with different outfits, I felt like something was still missing. So, I added a few accessories. A simple black belt, some boots, not too clunky, just regular boots with a bit of a rugged look. That really completed the look.
And you know what? I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I managed to incorporate that military style without looking like I was trying too hard or wearing a costume. It’s just a subtle touch, a little bit of that tough vibe, but still comfortable and stylish for everyday wear. But I learned one more thing, there are rules about this stuff. You can’t just wear any uniform. You should be part of the service. Or, you can only do so if you are a member of the soldiers’ home.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure into military style fashion. It was fun, and I learned a few things along the way. If you’re thinking about trying it out, just remember to keep it subtle, mix and match, and make sure your clothes fit well. And most importantly, have fun with it!
