What is European Graffiti? Check Out These Awesome Street Art Pictures!
Today, I wanna talk about my little adventure with European graffiti. It was a wild ride, let me tell you.
So, I started by checking out some stuff online. Apparently, Europe’s got a ton of street art, especially in places like Berlin, London, and Paris. I mean, who knew, right? I found some names of artists, like ROA from Belgium who does these crazy animal murals, and TEJN from Denmark who’s all about street sculptures. Pretty cool, huh?
- First, I booked a flight to Berlin. Everyone says it’s a hotspot for this kind of art.
- When I got there, I just started walking around, especially in the areas that used to be, you know, divided.
- Man, the walls there are covered in art! Big pieces, small pieces, all sorts of styles.
Taking Pictures of Graffiti
I took tons of pictures. Some of the stuff was just mind-blowing. Like, how do they even do that with spray cans? I even tried to find some of ROA’s work because I really dig those animal things he does. Found one of a giant bird – it was awesome!
Then I hopped on a train to Paris. The graffiti scene there is a bit different, more, I don’t know, artsy maybe? I stumbled upon this one piece that was all political and stuff. Super intense. It got me thinking, you know?
Street Art in Bucharest
Next up, I decided to go somewhere a bit off the beaten path – Bucharest in Romania. I’d read somewhere that it’s starting to get noticed for its street art. And yeah, it’s true! The city’s got murals popping up everywhere. It’s like the whole place is turning into an outdoor gallery.
I spent a few days just wandering around, getting lost in the backstreets, and finding these hidden gems. It’s not as polished as Berlin or Paris, but that’s what makes it cool. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s like the city’s got its own unique vibe.
Honestly, this whole graffiti thing, it’s more than just pretty pictures on walls. It’s like, the voice of the streets, you know? People expressing themselves, making statements, sometimes just making you smile. It’s pretty powerful when you think about it.
So yeah, that was my graffiti adventure in Europe. I saw some amazing art, met some interesting people, and learned a whole lot. If you ever get the chance, go check it out. It’s definitely worth it!
