2023-24 Artifacts: Your Guide to the Coolest Stuff You Can Find!
Okay, here’s a story about my experience with the 2023-24 Artifacts.
So, I started by grabbing four boxes from an inner case. I was pretty excited to see what I could get. I tore into them, and honestly, the first box was kinda so-so, nothing to write home about. But then, things started to pick up. The second box gave me a couple of decent cards, numbered and all, which got my hopes up.
By the time I got to the third and fourth boxes, I was really feeling it. I pulled a few more numbered cards, and even a couple that seemed pretty rare, you know, the kind that makes you feel like you’ve hit the jackpot. I was on a high, so what did I do? I went ahead and opened a whole sealed inner case.
Yeah, I know, I probably should have quit while I was ahead, but I was feeling lucky. Opening that inner case was like a whole different level. I was pulling cards left and right, some really good ones too. I even managed to snag one of those Aurum Signatures Duals, numbered to 5. Man, that felt good. I was on cloud nine.
The Cards I Got
- A bunch of base cards, like 100 of them.
- Some Stars cards, numbered out of 599. I think I got about 35 of those.
- Around 20 Goalies cards, also numbered out of 599.
- A few of those rare Aurum Signatures Duals, which are apparently numbered to only 5. It was so cool to get one of those.
After all that, I ended up with a pretty hefty stack of cards. I heard there are like 5554 different cards you can collect, so I’ve got a long way to go, but it was a blast. I spent the rest of the day sorting through them, figuring out what I had. It was like Christmas morning, but way better.
I did see some chatter online about redemptions, which I didn’t quite get at first. But it looks like they are some special type of cards. It sounded complicated so I didn’t bother to get them. I guess if you collect cards for a long time you may know about it. There were also some complaints about the retail versions not having the good stuff. Well, I definitely didn’t have that problem. Overall, it was a great experience. I had a ton of fun, and I got a bunch of cool cards to add to my collection. Can’t wait to do it again sometime.
