Alright, so, I was browsing online, and let me tell you, I got totally sucked into the world of Japanese art clothing for women. It’s fascinating! So I started looking for what to get my hands on.
First, I headed to a bunch of online stores. I mean, there were so many options, it was kinda overwhelming. I saw some offering discounts, like up to 90% off, which sounded crazy good. Others were talking about influencer outfits and all that jazz. I even found some places offering free shipping, and who doesn’t love that, right?
Then I dug a little deeper into what makes Japanese clothing, well, Japanese. I learned that the kimono is like the big star in traditional Japanese fashion. They call it the “national costume of Japan.” I always thought kimonos were super pretty, but I didn’t realize they were that important.
Finding What I Need
- I also found out it’s totally okay to wear shorts in Japan, which is good to know because I live in those during the summer. Speaking of summer, if you’re going to Japan in July or August, definitely pack some shorts.
- Next, I started thinking about how to actually style these clothes, especially for the fall season. Layering seems to be key. Like, you can wear a T-shirt or a blouse with a light jacket or cardigan. And for pants, comfortable ones like jeans or leggings are perfect for walking around.
- I then stumbled upon something called “kamishimo.” Apparently, it’s this traditional outfit worn by samurai and courtiers back in the day. It usually includes a formal kimono and something called “hakama,” which are like these wide-legged pants. It all sounds very elegant and historical.
After all this searching and learning, I finally decided to buy a few pieces that caught my eye. I ended up ordering a beautiful kimono-style top, which I think will look great with jeans. I also got a pair of hakama-style pants because I was so intrigued by their history. I figured, why not try something new and different?
Anyway, that’s my little adventure into the world of Japanese art clothing. I can’t wait for my order to arrive so I can try everything on. Maybe I’ll even post some pictures. Who knows? This could be the start of a whole new style journey for me.
