What do demons want and what are the best ways to keep them away from your home?

OK, so the title of today’s post is “What Do Demons Want?” Sounds wild, right? I really wanted to figure this out. So I started digging around, trying to piece together what these spooky beings are all about. What really got me going was when I found this quote that said, “Maybe he can’t take your life, but he will try and make your life a living hell while you’re on earth.” That sent shivers down my spine, man!

I started my little experiment by really immersing myself in all things, well, demonic. I read a bunch of stuff, watched a few documentaries, and even tried to reach out to people who claimed to have had some experiences. Most of what I found was just crazy stories, but I did find some common threads.

What do demons want and what are the best ways to keep them away from your home?

Here’s how I did it:

  • Research: I spent hours on the internet, reading articles and watching videos. It was a deep dive, let me tell you.
  • Interviews: I talked to a few folks who said they knew about this stuff. Most of it was pretty out there, but it was interesting to hear their stories.
  • Reflection: After gathering all this info, I sat down and thought about it. What did it all mean? What were these demons after?

My findings

After all that, I realized something. These demons, or whatever you want to call them, they’re all about messing with your head. They want to get inside your fears and turn your life upside down. I found this other quote that said, “But, the best way to cope with demonic attacks or harassment, is to grow in holiness yourself. The best protection against demons and evil spirits is to attend mass regularly.” Maybe there’s something to that, you know? Building yourself up from the inside out.

I also learned about some supposed ways to fight them off. Like, “Holy fire could destroy a demon’s vessel and is capable of killing some of them.” And “Iron – Most demons are vulnerable to iron and contact with it burns their skin.” It sounds like something out of a fantasy novel, but hey, who am I to judge? The last idea was pretty down-to-earth, though. It said, “Sometimes, the most effective way to draw out your inner demons is to share your struggles with a friend, family member, or therapist. Talking openly about your fears and insecurities allows you to defang them. Remember, there’s no shame in seeking help and opening up to others. It’s a sign of strength.” That one hit home for me.

Talking about your problems, being open about your fears, that’s powerful. It’s like shining a light in a dark room. Suddenly, the monsters don’t seem so scary anymore.

So, what did I learn from all this? Demons, real or not, they’re a reflection of our own inner battles. They thrive on fear and negativity. The best way to fight them? Be a better person, be strong, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. It is kind of eye-opening when you think about it that way.
