Freya rune symbol explained: Get the real meaning behind this symbol!
Okay, so today I wanna talk about something I’ve been messing around with lately – Freya rune symbols. I got into this whole Norse mythology thing a while back, and Freya, she’s like the goddess of love and fertility and a bunch of other cool stuff. I wanted to understand how to actually, like, use her symbols, you know?
Figuring Out the Symbols
So, first things first, I had to figure out which symbols were even hers. Turns out, the big one is this rune called “Fehu”. It’s the first one in the whole runic alphabet, apparently. I looked at a bunch of pictures, and I found this symbol is about wealth and starting new things. Kind of fits with Freya being all about fertility, right? New life, new beginnings, that sort of thing.
Making a Physical Representation
I wanted to do more than just look at pictures, though. I’m a hands-on kind of guy. So, I decided to make a physical thing with this Fehu symbol. I grabbed some clay I had lying around, ’cause why not, and I tried to shape it into the rune. It wasn’t perfect, looked a little rough, but it was mine.
Adding Some Flair
Then I thought, “This needs something more.” I remembered reading that Freya’s also connected to fire, passion, you know, intense stuff. So I grabbed some red paint, and painted the rune all over, thinking about that fire energy. After that, I stuck it in the oven to bake it, because that’s what you do with clay, right? I set it to a low temperature and let it sit in there for a few hours.
Trying to Focus the Energy
Now, here’s where it gets a little, I don’t know, woo-woo, maybe. I read that these runes, they’re not just symbols, they’re supposed to have like, energy or something. So, I decided to try and focus that energy. I took my little fired-up, red Fehu rune, held it in my hands, and just thought about what I wanted to manifest. You know, like attracting positive things, new opportunities, some good energy.
Setting an Intention
I visualized what I wanted, really tried to feel it, and then I placed the rune on my desk. I read that some people carry these things around like a protection charm. I saw the circle symbol is to protect people. They said this symbol is like a barrier from bad things. So, I put it in my workspace, somewhere I’d see it every day. It’s like a reminder of what I’m working towards, I guess.
Seeing What Happens
Has anything magical happened yet? Not really, not that I can tell. But, I do feel a little more focused, a little more intentional about my goals. Maybe it’s just the act of doing all this, of creating something and putting my energy into it. I don’t know, we’ll see. It’s a journey, right? I’ll keep you guys posted if anything crazy happens. Maybe Freya will send me a sign or something. Who knows?
