Egyptian god statue: Find out where to buy and how to pick the perfect one.
Hey folks, long time no see! It’s been a while, huh? Today, I wanna share something different, it’s about my latest tinkering – Egyptian god statues. Yep, you heard that right.
So, it all started when I stumbled upon some cool-looking statues online. They were of ancient Egyptian gods, and man, they looked awesome! I’ve always been fascinated by ancient Egypt, so I thought, why not try to bring a piece of that into my home?
First thing I did was a bit of digging. I mean, I wanted to know what I was getting into, right? Found out that these statues usually depicted the elite or gods and goddesses. Pretty neat. And then there were these small ones called “shabtis,” which were like, servants for the afterlife. Some tombs even had hundreds of them!
Then, I started looking for where to get these statues. Looked at a bunch of online stores. Some had really unique pieces, while others were pretty standard. I also learned about some of the gods. Like, did you know Set was the god of war, chaos, and storms? And he was related to Osiris, Isis, and Horus. Talk about a family drama!
Anyways, I decided to go for a statue of Anubis. He’s the god of the underworld, and I just thought his design was super cool. Found a really detailed one online, and it wasn’t too expensive, so I ordered it.
While I was waiting, I did some more reading. Learned about Tutankhamen, the young pharaoh, and more about Osiris. It’s all so fascinating. I also found out that some people believe these statues can reveal a lot about ancient Egyptian beliefs. That’s some deep stuff, man.
When the statue finally arrived, I was stoked! It looked even better in person. I put it up on my shelf, and it just gives the whole room a different vibe. It’s like having a little piece of history right there.
What I Learned
- Egyptian statues were a big deal. They weren’t just decorations. They represented important figures and beliefs.
- There’s a god for everything. War, chaos, storms, the underworld – you name it.
