First off, I started by just jotting down whatever came to mind. You know, the usual stuff like “Thunder” or “Shadow.” But honestly, that felt kinda boring.
So then I thought, “Hey, why not look up some actual war horses from history?” That’s when I stumbled upon this name, “Sergeant Reckless.” Turns out, it was a real horse in the Korean War. Pretty cool, right? I added that to my list, along with some racehorse names like “War Admiral” because, hey, they’re basically war horses of the track, am I right?

Then I dove into some medieval stuff. Apparently, they had different types of war horses back then – destriers, coursers, and rounceys. I didn’t bother noting those down; they’re more like job titles than names. But I did like the word “charger,” so I kept that in mind.
The Fun Part
After that, it was time to get creative. I started thinking about badass names, names that just scream power and fierceness.
- “Ajax” popped up because of that Greek mythology vibe, and it sounded tough.
- Then there’s “Cash” – short, sweet, and sounds like it could kick butt.
