Armor Chain Reviews: Is It Worth Buying? Find Out Here!
Okay, here is my sharing about armor chain:
So, I’ve been seeing this whole armor chain thing pop up, and it got me thinking, you know? I saw someone asking about the best places to snag some chain mail – hauberks, mittens, the whole nine yards. And I get it, it all comes down to what you’ve got in your wallet and what you’re gonna do with it.
One time, I had, like, 3700 gold in this game, and this sweet chain mail set was going for around 2K. I was like, “Should I save up for something else, or just go for it?” Figured I’d probably find better stuff later anyway.
But then I did some digging, and it turns out chain is pretty much the top dog when it comes to metal armor. I mean, whether you’re just starting out or you’re some kind of collector, it seems like chain’s got your back.
Now, I did stumble across someone saying that buying armor online is a terrible idea. Like, soft armor gives you some slash resistance, but if you want to be protected from stabs, it’s gonna be super uncomfortable. So I decided to look for physical stores.
Then I remembered this other game I used to play. I had trained up these smiths to make some killer armor, but the chainmail they made had some serious drawbacks. It got me wondering if it was even worth it to wear under heavier armor.
And don’t even get me started on real-life stuff. Buying a gold chain? Forget it! You gotta think about the karats, is it 10kt, 14kt? It’s a whole thing.
I also learned that chain sets are a lightweight armor in the game, it seems pretty good, balancing protection and not being too clunky.
I once saw this full chain set in a game for like 630 gold, and I only had a little over 700. Money was tough to come by in that game, so it was a tough call.
Here’s what I ended up doing:
- Checked out some forums: Lots of people were talking about chain armor, so I figured that was a good place to start.
- Compared stats: Turns out, chain armor has the same durability as iron, but it’s only a bit better than gold. Not a huge difference.
- Considered my options: I thought about whether I wanted a steel breastplate with some enchantment or just a plain old diamond one. Big decisions!
- Rememberd a question I saw on the forum: Is unbreaking on armor worth it?
My conclusion?
In games, chain armor seems like a decent mid-tier option. It’s not the best, but it’ll do in a pinch. In real life, though, buying chains is a whole different story. Do your research!
Anyways I finally used my 700 gold to buy the whole chain set, It looks pretty cool on my character.
That’s all for my armor chain ramble. Hope this was somewhat helpful! Gotta go grind for some more gold now.
