Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this fella named Pilot Stonegear, though folks round here just call him Stone. He’s a small feller, a dwarf to be exact, and you’ll mostly find him hangin’ around Steelgrill’s Depot, over in Dun Morogh. That’s a place where all the iron folks do their work, ya know? Now, Stone, he ain’t just any ordinary dwarf. He’s got a mind for them big ol’ siege engines, and let me tell ya, he loves ‘em like they were his own kin! His heart beats for firepower and armor, ‘specially when it comes to his pride and joy, the Trollplow, a big ol’ tank of a machine!
Now, Stonegear, he’s got a job to do, see? He’s what ya’d call a quest giver, always lookin’ for someone to take on some work for him. You might have to head out and gather some supplies or deal with them pesky varmints that keep gettin’ in the way of his engine-building. But don’t let his small size fool ya, this fella’s got a lot of heart and he knows his stuff when it comes to makin’ sure his siege engines work better than any others!
And let me tell ya somethin’ else about this Stone. The way he talks about his engines, you’d think they were children of his own! He’s always lookin’ for new ways to improve ‘em, make ‘em stronger, faster, and more powerful. Ain’t that the way of a good engineer? He’s always talkin’ to his buddy Bellowfiz, comparin’ their tanks, arguin’ which one’s got the better firepower, or who’s got the thickest armor. But if you ask Stone, he’ll tell ya, hands down, that his Trollplow’s the best around.
He’s also got a nickname, ‘Stone,’ though I reckon it ain’t cause he’s hard as one, but more cause he’s steady, reliable, and a bit stubborn too. He’s been around a long time, havin’ been added into the game all the way back in patch 1.11.1, if you can believe it! But don’t think just ‘cause he’s been around that long that he ain’t got some fresh ideas up his sleeve. No sir, this fella’s always lookin’ to improve his engines, and that’s why people from Ironforge and all around go to him when they need a bit of advice or a hand with their own machines.
So, if you ever find yourself wanderin’ through Dun Morogh, make sure to stop by and see Stone. He’s got a way of talkin’ that makes you feel like you’ve known him forever, and who knows? You might just find yourself takin’ on a new quest or helpin’ him make one of them mighty machines even better!
