Random Artwork: Best Tips and Tricks for Beginners in 2024!
Okay, so, I wanted to make some random artwork today. Here’s how it went down.
First, I grabbed my laptop and fired up a random number generator online. I needed a bunch of random numbers to, you know, make the artwork random.
Then, I opened a simple drawing program. Nothing fancy, just something I could use to draw basic shapes and lines. I decided to use the random numbers to determine things like the size, position, and color of the shapes.
- I used the first set of numbers to decide how many shapes to draw. I got something like 15, so I was like, “Alright, 15 shapes it is.”
- Next, I generated more numbers to decide the type of shapes. Let’s say I had three options: circles, squares, and triangles. A number between 1 and 3 would represent each shape type.
- For each shape, I kept generating random numbers. I used them to determine the x and y coordinates, the size, and even the color. It was a bit tedious, but it was cool to see how these random numbers were dictating every aspect of the artwork.
I started drawing the shapes one by one, following the instructions from the random numbers. Some circles ended up huge, some squares were tiny, and some triangles were all wonky. I was basiclly creating those things that I don’t know how to draw, but the rendom number does.
The Final Result
After a while, I had this weird, abstract piece of art. It was totally random, but that was the whole point! It was a fun experiment to see how I could use randomness to create something visually interesting. I guess it’s not the best one, but it’s a start, and it’s really something.
